and will remain in beta.
The Portal serves as a proof of concept for a digitized CMF, but it is a stepping stone on a longer path. mM intends to have CMF-filtered data available in additional workflow tools by the end of 2024, with many other integrations to be developed. The mM Product Portal allows brands and users to search for products by impact, mapping how each product certification supports each impact category. It differentiates between products with certifications and documentation that provide transparency and those that represent a product that has been optimized in a given category.

The mindful materials Portal leverages the newly-digitized Common Materials Framework (CMF) TO MAKE MORE MINDFUL DECISIONS MORE INTUITIVE.
The framework, and our efforts of the mM Collaboration Hub to align materials action across all stakeholders in the building the industry, are making it easier than ever to understand and reduce material impacts.

mM is collaborating with technology leader Ecomedes, Inc to power the new Portal and digitize the Common Materials Framework (CMF). And that’s not all — we’re also working with a collaborative network of ecosystem partners, starting with supply chain management tools like Toxnot PBC, and data partners at the Health Product Declaration Collaborative and EC3, to activate materials data and enable streamlined manufacturer data management. Together, these measures will change how we make, specify and purchase products data globally. This work provides the foundation required to benchmark and comparably reduce the holistic embodied impacts of buildings. Isn’t it about time for holistic sustainability to be standard?
